TREE FARM GUIDELINES
WATCH YOUR STEP – (When walking amongst the trees, there are a few stumps.)
CASH ONLY – (there is an ATM at the Quick Check at the corner of 565 and 206)
NO DOGS PLEASE – (Our dog Levon loves people and children, but not other dogs.)
NO CHAIN SAWS – (You can bring your own hand saw or we can provide one for you.)
TIE DOWN – (Due to liability reasons, we do not tie trees on cars. We can provide twine and will bale the tree for you. You can google many techniques.)
THE STORY OF GRACE CHRISTMAS TREE FARM
In December of 2021, my wife and I purchased Heritage Tree Farm. We met with the owners, Virginia and Barry and had a lovely conversation. Barry and my wife talked about Jesus. Virginia and I talked about the business of running the farm. They were such a nice couple and encouraged us not to follow their lead, but to ‘find our own path.’
That path led us to rename the farm, Grace Christmas Tree Farm, after my mother-in-law Grace. Her sister Marian was the first person in the family to buy a home in Sussex County 75 years ago. In 2021 we were barely moved in, so did not sell any trees. In 2022, we sold some trees wholesale and had one ‘friends and family’ day that was very encouraging. In 2023, we planted over 200 trees to complement our existing 4000 Norway Spruce.
We will be open to the public on select weekend days this year, based on the weather forecast. We still work day jobs, so one day each weekend selling trees is enough for now. Please watch for the roadside sign or this website for days that we will be open. We wish you and your family a happy, healthy and blessed Christmas.
